Stevioside, CAS# 57817-89-7, is a sugar substitute manufactured through extraction and isolation from stevia plants, available as White fine powder. Stevioside is widely used as sweetener as it has up to 300 times the sweetness of sugar. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E960.
